Trun
POW's in a Horch 901, picture taken in front of L'Hospice, August 1944.
The same location now (2011).
Here l'Hospice is visible on a postcard of the beginning of the 20th century. The building on right has been replaced with a modern one lately. Shame...
A german soldier gets care from a canadian medic, also in front of L'Hospice. Pay atention to the (Horch) picture above, as both medic and german are visible in the left corner!
Same location, L'Hospice. The building was being renovated at that time (2011).
Kommandantur of Trun during WW2.
Many buildings having been demolished during the siege, resemblance is weak. The exact building of the Kommandantur seems to have been shelled away. Shapes of roofs and chimneys on the left of the picture make up the match (2011).
